The activities offered within this option are called "great outdoors" activities and its participants must be in good physical shape and enjoy strong sensations. These activities are practised greatly in our region. Each activity takes place during the entire afternoon (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday). scuba divingdiving in Monaco

The participants are accompanied and supervised by a qualified guide, in addition to our group leader. The location for the climb, which is appropriately equipped and secured, is close to the CMEF: a small rocky outcrop called ‘La Loubière - Tête de Chien’, an internationally recognised site which offers an extraordinary panoramic view of Monaco and the Mediterranean. Even if the climbs undertaken have been chosen for beginners, it is an absolutely necessary condition not to suffer from vertigo.

Accrobranches (tree climbing)

This practice is new and original: it consists of climbing from tree to tree along routes in the presence of a specialist instructor (assistance along the course, or from the ground depending on the height of the course). The youngsters' safety is assured again by individual equipment which is doubly connected to a cable which follows the course. Ladders, monkey bridges, rope bridges: this is the varied menu that awaits teenagers for a stunning afternoon in the trees.

This activity consists of descending, alternating between walking, swimming and small jumps in the water, picturesque mountain streams in places dug in the form of a canyon. The sites chosen will not be very difficult. After a small hike upstream to reach the river, the descent in groups can begin: the specialized guide assists and secures the movements of each group. The landscapes are very beautiful and the progress through the water is quite easy and fun.

Note: the " Adventure sports " activities option will not be practised in the event of bad weather conditions (however this is rare in summer on the French Riviera), for obvious safety reasons. A cancelled trip will be delayed or reimbursed by CMEF in proportion to its value.
